Welcome to the website of the Salt Spring Abattoir
The Salt Spring Abattoir is a community facility managed by the the not- for- profit Salt Spring Abattoir Society.
It provides custom slaughter service for both red meat and poultry.
The Salt Spring Abattoir is continuing to operate as an essential service during the COVID 19 emergency. We are taking booking for lambs, pigs, beef, rabbits, chickens and turkeys. Unfortunately we do not currently have the capacity to process waterfowl. There are additional protocols in place to keep our staff save and we ask that all customers follow the guidelines for social distancing when delivering livestock or picking up meat.
