Thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs Program, the Salt Spring Abattoir has an opening for a young person 15-30 years of age to assist in all areas of operations.
Duties will vary from day to day and may include meat wrapping, poultry processing, and facility maintenance, as well as administrative tasks. No experience necessary, training will be provided. The position is for 4 days a week (Tuesday to Friday) for an 8 week period from mid June to August with options for extending into the Fall on a part time basis.
